We also offer self-pay options and out-of network billing.
With the "No Surprises Act" you will get a Good Faith Estimate of your services and cost at or before your first appointment. If you don't get a copy of this, please ask your therapist to provide one.
Yes, you can. You can enter the information in your web portal and use your card. You can also print out a statement, if you need one. Mental Health Services are considered in the same category as medical office visits.
The portal is a secure site, that allows you to fill out confidential paperwork, look at your bill and check on your appointments. You will get an initial link to access the portal and set up your account with your email address when you first schedule.

Similarly to Chiropractic or Personal Training, more than one session is needed to see results. Research seems to indicate a minimum of 6 sessions for minor problems and highly motivated clients. Complicated situations, trauma and destructive patterns may take a significant amount of time.
If you feel a good connection to the therapist, you feel they are knowledgeable and you are making progress on your goals, then you are doing well. If not, feel free to ask for referrals for a better fit.
With a signed form (Release of Information), you may request your records be sent to another provider or individual. You may allow a family member or other individual to have information on your treatment or billing. Request a Release of Information form be sent to your portal or given to you in session by your therapist or at Info@LineageCounseling.com. You may also ask for a copy of your records to be sent directly to you without a Release of Information form.
