Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. We utilize a variety of theories and approaches to help you make progress including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Insight Oriented, Internal Family Systems and Family of Origin work.
We utilize a variety of trauma therapies to support your recovery from flashbacks, nightmares and negative messages. These include EMDR, ego state therapy, guided imagery and talk therapy. We encourage you to go at a pace that works for you and discuss options that fit your situation.
Counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, improve their communication or recover from an affair. Families looking to support a struggling child or build more positive interactions among co-parents or parents/adult children will benefit from therapy focused on supporting the system and building healthy interactions.
Disordered eating and body image issues can impact daily life and increase anxiety. Often support is needed to overcome these challenges. We focus on Behavioral Strategies, Narrative Therapy and Internal Conflict resolution in order to support change.
Contact Rebekah Brandvold for more information on Consultation groups and individual supervision for both LMFT and LPCC candidates, as well as AAMFT supervision.
