Practicum/Intern 2023

We are taking applications for next years internship.  Please send resume and cover letter to Rebekah at Rebekah@Lineagecounseling.com.  Please have your application in by November 30th.  Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Reminder about travel

If you are traveling out of the state, remember that your therapist must be licensed in both states to do Telehealth across the border.  Make sure to talk to your therapist if you are planning to do your session, in a new location.

Reminder about deductibles

Insurance plans change and deductibles restart in January, which may mean that your fee for therapy might change.  Check with your insurance plan to avoid any surprises!

Inspirational Quote

I liked this quote as we are facing the troubles of the world- hopefully you will too:

"When the world has become unsafe, we might struggle with the impulse to just stay inside of ourselves forever. How can we take calculated risks when we can’t trust anything? Or is it the act of risk-taking that allows us to develop trust? Trust researcher Rachel Botsman defines trust as a confident engagement with the unknown. Taking leaps of faith is how we open back up to the possibility that we can love again, be with people again, have fun again, be safe, and be healthy."  Esther Perel (Letters from Esther #21)
